Easter Holiday Activity Ideas

For many of us the Easter holidays are going to be two weeks of sleeping and revision in preparation for the busy exam period ahead.

But the holidays are also a time for relaxing. A time for seeing friends and family and getting involved in the Easter festivities.

As a student I have come up with some cost-friendly activities for you, ready for the Easter break!

Things To Do In The Easter Holidays:

1. Go for a walk- this is something that I will definitely be finding time for this spring. I am lucky enough to live not far from the Malvern Hills which are a perfect place for long, spring walks. Hopefully there will be some crisp, cold, but sunny whether throughout the holidays so wrap up warm and take a walk with friends or family! Have a picnic get together some of your favourite snacks and have some lunch al fresco!

2. Baking- there are many delicious Easter snacks to bake! Test yourself with some tricky recipes or dig out some classics to whip up for family and friends.
I'm hoping to make some Easter treats soon so watch this space for a yummy Easter recipe to try out.

3. Feeling creative? - get together with friends or siblings and make a collage all things spring. Collect photos, flowers and other bits and bobs that represent spring for you. I always enjoy going for a walk and taking lots of photos of the bright flowers and any wildlife I can find.

4. Exercise- take some time to play your favourite sport or do some exercise that you usually don't have time to do. School and college can leave you exhausted and the holidays are a perfect time to get your energy back up again!

5. Rest & Relax- take a day for yourself. Snuggle up and have a cosy day. Watch some Netflix, a movie or take some time to read the book you've always wanted to read.
I have a confession, I recently purchased myself an adult colouring book and some colouring pencils. It sounds lame, but it's actually very therapeutic and relaxing!

Take some time for yourself this Easter. Especially if you have important exams in the next few months. Revision is looming and now is the time to relax and refresh ready for the final boost of motivation to push you through.

School is important, but so are you. Enjoy yourself.

Let me know if you get up to any of these things & other ideas for Easter break activities!

til next time,
Hannah xo
